Six healthy and easy-to-do recipes you can make in a toaster oven

Toaster ovens aren’t just for making toast and heating pizza anymore. Here are some healthy Pinterest recipes you can do at home.

Kale Chips

Ingredients:

2 kale leaves

1 lemon peel

1 tsp salt

2 sprays olive oil

Directions:

1. Preheat toaster oven to 300F. 

2. Remove stems of kale leaves and cut into medium pieces. Place on the tray and spray with olive oil.

3. Cook until the edges are slightly crisp then sprinkle salt and lemon peel after. 

Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

1 apple sliced and cubed

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp Quaker oats

2 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp flour

1 pinch cinnamon

1 pinch salt

Directions:

1. Places apples in ramekin and sprinkle sugar, salt, and cinnamon. 

2. Mix flour, sugar, and oats together until crumbly. Add crumble mixture and bake in 350F until browned. 

Baked Potato Wedges

Ingredients:

5 potatoes

¾ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt

2 tsp Italian seasoning

½ cup Parmesan cheese

2 ½ tbsp olive oil

Directions:

1. Preheat toaster oven to 450F and put tin foil on tray. 

2. Slice potatoes and put in a bowl. Mix in the olive oil, garlic powder, pepper, salt, and seasoning. 

3. Line them on the tray and bake until browned. 

Baked Parmesan Zucchini

Ingredients:

4 zucchinis

½ tsp dried basil

½ tsp dried oregano

¾ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp thyme

2 tbsp fresh parsley

½ cup all-purpose flour

⅛ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp salt

2 tbsp olive oil

½ cup Parmesan cheese

Directions:

1. Preheat toaster oven to 350F

2. Combine basil, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, parmesan, salt, and pepper in a bowl. 

3. Slice zucchinis and line them on the tray. Add the combined spices on top

4. Bake until golden brown and serve with parsley. 

Miso Glazed Salmon

Ingredients:

1 salmon fillet

Red or white miso

Soy sauce

Vegetable oil

Sugar

Sake

Directions:

1. Mix miso, soy sauce, sugar, oil, and sake in a bowl. 

2. Transfer in zip lock bag and add salmon fillet, marinate for at least 30 minutes. 

3. Preheat oven to high. Cover tray with aluminum foil and place marinated salmon. Cook until salmon is well charred

Cauliflower Hash Brown

Ingredients:

1 cauliflower

¼ tsp garlic powder

1 egg

⅛ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp cayenne powder

½ tsp salt

¾ cup cheddar cheese

Olive oil

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400F. 

2. Grate the head of cauliflower then microwave for three minutes. 

3. Let it cool then mix cauliflower with garlic powder, egg, black pepper, cayenne, salt, and cheese.

4. Mold into squares and place on oiled tray. Cook until golden brown
