The long-distance race will take place from Barangay Irawan to Simpocan and Salakot

Puerto Princesa will host an Ironman 70.3 this year on Nov. 8. According to Palawan News Online, the race hopes to invite 5,000 international guests from 36 different countries.
The long-distance race, which consists of 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, and 13.1 run will take place from Barangay Irawan to Simpocan and Salakot. Participants will start the race at Montible then swim to City Beach and finish the race at Bacungan. According to city tourism officer Aileen Cynthia Amurao, this will also be a great opportunity for the west coast to exhibit its local products and services to its visitors.
This will be the fourth Ironman 70.3 race to be held in the Philippines this year. The country already has three annual triathlon 70.3 races held in Davao, Subic, and Cebu. As of writing, other details about Ironman 70.3 Puerto Princesa are not yet available.
