Is this the future of eyewear stores?

Rudy Project opens its first experiential store

At Rudy Project’s new flagship store—the first of its kind in the world—in Uptown Place, Bonifacio Global City, customers can experience the future of performance eyewear.

The new store has interactive galleries and challenging activities, all of which are designed to simulate different playing fields where customers can use a wide range of Rudy Project gear.

Drawn in by the store’s eyewear-shaped facade, customers are greeted by the 184-sq.m outlet’s facilities: a cycling area, a putting green, and virtual reality consoles that offer a peek into the future of sports eyewear. There’s also a standing challenge to break Rudy Project’s unbreakable ImpactX2 lens where prizes await whoever manages to complete the challenge.

“Elite level competition allows zero tolerance for mistakes. Each eyewear is designed to give a performance edge, whether it’s for keeping cyclists aerodynamic or helping golfers discern between individual blades of grass,” says Jerry Tee, CEO of 88 Prestige Brands Inc., the exclusive distributor of Rudy Project.

Off-season, athletes can still enjoy a wide range of cool eyewear in the more laid-back lifestyle collection. The brand also offers prescription eyewear, helmets, goggles, and other sports accessories.
