Utah Jazz’s promising rookie Donovan Mitchell will arrive in Manila on June 17, Sunday in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
The Rookie of the Year contender had a stunning NBA rookie season after showcasing his talent in scoring. The 21-year old shooting guard leads all rookies in scoring and once spearheaded his team on an 11-game winning streak while dropping more than 20 points each game.
Mitchell, also known as the “Spida,” was originally drafted by the Denver Nuggets as the 13th overall pick of the 2017 NBA draft before he was transferred to Jazz in exchange for Trey Lyles and 24th pick Tyler Lydon. Mitchell averaged 20.5 ppg, 3.7 rpg, and 3.7 apg during his first year as a Jazz.
The 6’3” guard will have a press conference at the Adidas Store, 2 Parkade, BGC on June 17.
