Adidas has partnered with Beyoncé Knowles to develop new signature footwear and apparel. In addition, the singer will also be relaunching her Ivy Park athleisure clothing line (previously under Topshop) under the Adidas brand.

Adidas has said that the partnership “ respects Beyoncé’s ownership of her company which continues her journey as one of the first black women to be the sole owner of an athleisure brand.”

Ivy Park was launched in April 2016 as a joint venture with Topshop, but after sexual and racial harassment allegations were made towards Topshop owner Philip Green, Knowles’ Parkwood Entertainment acquired full ownership of the brand in November 2018.

Knowles has said of the new partnership with Adidas: “This is the partnership of a lifetime for me. Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.”
