Under Armour holds fourth Test of Will challenge

This year’s Under Armour Test of Will was particularly focused on battle ropes

​Under Armour’s Test of Will, Asia’s most popular urban fitness challenge, returned for a fourth edition on July 13 and 14 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. This year’s edition introduced a brand new elite category, designed to further push one’s limits with added difficulties.

The Test of Will challenge is known as Asia’s most advanced urban fitness challenge offering people from all backgrounds a chance to test their strength and will through a series of exercises. This year’s competition consisted of  battle ropes specifically double rope slams, rope Russian twist, reverse lunges, and rope pulls which participants had to accomplish in one minute and were scored based on the number of repetitions they achieved.

The winners of the Philippine standoff’s Open Category Lorenzo Leonardo and Vanessa Capuyon walked away with P87,000 in cash each while Mel Chan and Lexi Noval, champions of the Elite Category, brought home P125,000 each.

Under Armour also launched its newest FDA-approved performance collection called Rush and Recovery. Developed in partnership with Celliant, the scientifically engineered fabric promotes endurance, strength, and energy return, enabling improved sporting performance.

Battle ropes were a key highlight this year
