Since then, a lot of athletes have been coping with the COVID-19’s impact by entertaining themselves with various activities—one of which is by turning to TikTok. In case you live under a rock, TikTok is the hottest video-sharing social media platform right now and a number of NBA players have taken over it. Here are the NBA stars you should follow on TikTok right now:
Ja Morant
Ja Morant, the frontrunner to win Rookie of the Year this season, threw on his full Memphis Grizzlies gear and acted out his starting five introduction every game. Before the NBA hiatus, Morant was averaging 17 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds per game—helping the Grizzlies claim the eighth seed in the Western conference.
Tacko Fall
Boston Celtics fan favorite Tacko Fall is keeping himself entertained during quarantine by showing his impressive dance skills to the world (who knew?). The 7’5 rookie debuted his latest TikTok busting some moves with the caption, “Don’t mind me I’m just bored.”
Jayson Tatum
Fall’s teammate Jayson Tatum is staying loose on TikTok as well with his own sweet moves to the beats of “Get Loose.” Before the season was put on hold, Tatum was playing the best basketball of his career, averaging 23 points and 7 rebounds per game.
Matisse Thybulle
“The only logical thing to do for me at this point is to start making TikToks,” says Matisse Thybulle. The Philadelphia 76ers rookie announced his arrival on TikTok with style—putting together a series of creative and role play videos like no other. Thybulle’s videos have circulated online, specifically on NBA Twitter, where his teammate Mike Scott couldn’t help but comment on his videos.
