The home fitness equipment global market reported a $9.49 billion growth in 2020. That’s 40.4 percent higher than what it was in 2019. Which makes total sense given that more people have been working out indoors.

And one cardio machine that has become a popular choice for many is the treadmill, which is available in multiple sports and fitness retail stores in the Philippines. Here’s a rundown of some of the notable and affordable treadmills you can consider:

Domyos Treadmill Run 100

There’s a variety of treadmill choices on Decathlon right now and their cheapest is the Run 100, which is designed for performance and easy storage (read: it’s foldable!). The Run 100 has a backlit LCD screen that displays the time, distance, speed, pace, calories, and heart rate. Its maximum speed is 14 kph and comes with 30 targeted programs made by a certified endurance coach.

Sambahayan treadmill

For beginners or those who want to invest in a simple treadmill, the Sambahayan (as what it’s called) on Lazada might work for you. The multifunctional fold treadmill generates a speed of 560mm and has an HD LED display. It’s also one of the cheapest treadmills in the market today and is fairly easy to install. Another bonus? It’s garnered decent reviews and even allows cash on delivery.
