Newborn baby boy “Covid Bryant” became a viral internet star just a day after his birth

A Filipino mom recently gave birth to a son whom she named Covid Bryant—inspired by the late legendary NBA champion Kobe Bryant and COVID-19. She gave birth to Covid on Mar. 15, the first day of quarantine in Metro Manila, and has since gone viral.
Days after, more reports of babies named after COVID surfaced online.
