The beautiful thing about sharing stories is that it has the power to inspire people, which is one of the reasons why podcasts have become a popular source of entertainment today. Aside from books, movies, and speeches, listening to podcasts motivates you to achieve your goals and dreams—and the best part is that it’s just a few taps away on your phone. If you’re looking for some inspiration, here are nine podcasts we recommend you listen to right now:

1. The Tim Ferriss Show

Dubbed the “Oprah of audio,” the Tim Ferriss Show is the first business podcast to hit a record-breaking 300 million downloads around the world. What makes this motivational podcast unique is that Ferriss invites famous personalities including the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Foxx, LeBron James, and Maria Sharapova to share their training routines and secrets to success.

2. Life is A Marathon

“In order to love who and what you are, you cannot hate the experiences that shaped you,” says host and motivational speaker Bruce Van Horn. Van Horn encourages listeners to live life with a positive mindset and drills the importance of constantly aiming for personal development and boosting self-esteem. There are also a couple of episodes on how to destroy negative thoughts and turn them into motivation instead.

3. The Goal Digger

Pioneered by host Jenna Kutcher, The Goal Digger is a live-workshop business podcast with tips and tricks to stay motivated, productive, and how to become a “self-made” millionaire. It caters to women of any profession but it appeals to almost anyone. Give this podcast a try if you’re uncertain about your current job or if you have questions about chasing passions.

4. TED Radio Hour

TED Radio Hour is one of the many podcasts of Ted Talks. This one specifically explores topics like leadership and self-awareness, and gives fresh perspectives, ideas, and solutions on how to face the “real world.”

5. Inspire Nation

The goal of Inspire Nation is to “help you shine bright” by releasing inspirational episodes about every aspect of life. Hosted by Michael Sandler, it also features authors, spiritual leaders, and experts who talk about their life-changing experiences and how these can help daily self-improvement.

6. The Brendon Show

Hosted by personal development coach Brendon Burchard, the show discusses issues around self-doubt and how to find motivation in the little things and people around you. The main goal of Burchard’s podcast is to get his listeners to take action and find their path in life.

7. Happier with Gretchen Rubin

This features American author and speaker Gretchen Rubin who dives deep into how to live a happier life. “Happier” has been running for five years now as Rubin and her sister Elizabeth talk about simple habits and practical ways to make daily life enjoyable no matter what you’re going through. One episode you can stream right now is “Coping during COVID-19: How to Stay Calmer and Happier in Difficult Times.”

8. The One You Feed

In this podcast, co-hosts Eric Zimmer and Chris Forbes talk about the importance of “taking conscious, constant and creative effort to make a life worth living.” They share their experiences and interview a variety of people from different aspects of life who tackle mental health, anxiety, depression, habits, behavioral change, self-awareness, and motivation.

9. The Punnies by Kobe Bryant

One of the many legacies basketball superstar and Oscar winner Kobe Bryant left behind is his love for storytelling. In August 2018, Bryant created a podcast featuring original songs and fictional stories focused on inspiring people to be the best version of themselves as well as important lessons about failure. Through the Good Ol’ Gang characters, we see how the lessons we learn in sports translate into real life.
