The Meadowcrest Backyard Adventure Run 2024, held on July 21, 2024 at the newly launched Meadowcrest estate in Biñan, Laguna, marked a significant event in the local sports and lifestyle calendar. Federal Land, the proud presenter of this event, showcased the 48-hectare estate’s potential by blending lifestyle, fitness, and community engagement in a vibrant setting. The event featured two distinct and exciting runs: the 1Km Pet Run and the 2Km Obstacle Run, attracting a diverse group of participants and spectators.

It aims to highlight the estate’s unique blend of residential and commercial opportunities, positioning it as a hub for both lifestyle and business. The event’s dual focus on pet-friendly activities and challenging obstacle courses underscored this vision, providing a comprehensive experience for all attendees.

The 1Km Pet Run, commencing at 7 a.m., was a delightful segment designed for participants and their pets. Each participant received a race bib equipped with a timing chip and a pet bandana. The run emphasized safety and well-being, requiring all participating pets to be on a short leash, in good health, vaccinated, and at least six-months-old. This event fostered a sense of community among pet owners, encouraging them to engage in a healthy and fun-filled activity with their furry companions.

In contrast, the 2Km Obstacle Run, which began in waves starting at 5:30 a.m., catered to more adventurous participants. This segment featured a mix of road and trail running, integrated with various obstacles designed to challenge the runners’ endurance and agility. Each wave had a maximum of 50 runners, ensuring a manageable and safe running environment. Participants in this run were also provided with race bibs with timing chips, and all finishers were awarded a Meadowcrest Backyard Adventure Finisher Shirt, symbolizing their accomplishment.
