7 reasons to keep coming back to Vermosa Sports Hub

Because one visit at Vermosa Sports Hub just won’t cut it

Ayala Land’s newest one-stop fitness destination Vermosa Sports Hub finally opened its doors to the public on Mar. 17 and we’re pretty pumped up about it.

With its Olympic-standard facilities and wide, open spaces for biking and running, we wouldn’t be surprised if it quickly becomes a staple training ground for fitness junkies and professional athletes alike.

“We designed Vermosa Sports Hub to cater to triathletes and new-age sports,” says Vermosa estate head Jay Teodoro at the official launch on Mar. 16, where athletes got the chance to try out the sports hub’s facilities.

Teodoro explains that the entire 700 hectares of Ayala Land’s Vermosa property in Cavite was envisioned to be the next Ayala Alabang but with an emphasis on healthy, sustainable living.

Creating the ideal environment for athletes, sports buffs, and fitness junkies who aim to reach the top of their game, Vermosa Sports Hub is equipped with training facilities designed for international sports competitions

Considering the crowds that flock to Nuvali and the increasing number of joggers that frequent Ayala Triangle, it was easy for Ayala Land to spot fitness as a trend and major consideration in the development of its future projects, which is why much of Vermosa is dedicated to active lifestyle.

Cavite may seem too far for a 5K run or a few laps at the pool but being a 45-minute drive away from Makati or 15 minutes away from Alabang, accessibility is one of Vermosa’s strongest suits. If that’s not enough motivation to check it out, here’s a quick rundown of what you can do at Vermosa Sports Hub:

1. Run on an international standard track oval

An impressive feature is the nine-lane track oval, which measures 400 meters, and its football field right in the middle. Professional runners will be pleased to know that the track oval was “built in accordance with the International Association of Athletics Federations standards.”

2. Swim in an Olympic-size lap pool

Vermosa has its very own 10-lane, Olympic-size lap pool complete with Anti Wave Starting Blocks and an updated timing system by Omega, the official timekeeping device of the Olympics. Swimmers are assured of spacious, clean washrooms and changing rooms conveniently located right next to the pool, too.

3. Train in a complete fitness laboratory

Vermosa Sports Hub will also be home to Santé Fitness Lab, a complete fitness shop that will include a strength and conditioning fitness facility, sports rehabilitation areas, a dance studio, a spinning class area, a bike shop, a nutrition and fitness café, and conference and lecture rooms. Exclusive services offered by Santé are as follows:

  • Physical and functional assessment
  • Individualized fitness programs
  • Specialized group exercises
  • Sport-specific programs
  • Sports rehabilitation
  • Performance testing

4. Play football and other field sports

A standard-sized football pitch with natural grass and a sand sub-base are meant for football fanatics. The field and other open areas are also available for other field sports.

5. Bike and jog to your heart’s content

Since Vermosa Sports Hub aims to be a one-stop destination for all sports, it will also provide spaces for other outdoor sports and fitness activities. The property will also unveil spacious bike lanes and jogging paths soon.

6. Shop for fitness and sporting goods

Now you can conveniently source training equipment and accessories in one place. The Vermosa community will have its own shopping mall, which will feature an entire wing dedicated to sports and fitness retail outlets.

7. Cop competitive rate packages and period-based membership passes

We’re pretty sure you’ll keep coming back to Vermosa Sports Hub after getting a taste of its facilities. Luckily for us, they offer competitive rate packages and period-based membership passes.

A one-year membership (annual VIP pass) costs P5,600 while a P2,250-unlimited pool pass will give you access to the lap pool for one month. A three-month pool pass will cost P5,600. But if you hurry and purchase your passes until April 2018, you get a 20 percent discount.

Can’t commit to a membership? No problem. Walk-in customers can also get in on the fun. Entrance to the track oval is P90 for six hours while access to the 50-meter lap pool costs P220 for four hours.
