The first leg of the highly anticipated Runrio Trilogy 2018 kicks off on Mar. 18
Runrio Trilogy 2018 kicks off its Manila leg on Mar. 18, Sunday at the SM Mall of Asia where 6,000 runners are expected to race in three categories—21K, 10K, and 5K.
Running enthusiasts can also look forward to more exciting running activities in store for everyone. First is the 5K Family Run in which teams consisting of family members will race together. Even kids 15 years or below can qualify. The 5K Barkada Run, on the other hand, is open to four adults, each of whom must be 16 years of age or older. There is also the 10K Buddy Run, which is also open for participants 16 years old and above.
Registration fees for each category are as follows:
21K – P1,800
10K Individual – P1,200
10K Buddy – P1,050 each
5K Individual – P900
5K Family and Barkada – P775 each
The race kit includes a race shirt and a bib, which may be claimed at The Plaza, Resorts World Manila from Mar. 15 to 17, 12 nn to 8 p.m. Finishers are entitled to a finisher’s shirt (for 21K runners), a finisher’s medal, and a drawstring bag.
Those who will be participating should take note of their respective assembly times:
21K – 3 a.m.
10K – 3:50 a.m.
10K Buddy Run – 3:50 a.m.
5K Individual, Family, and Barkada Run – 4 a.m.

Runrio Trilogy is the premier running series in the country. It highlights progression running leading to a full marathon with the aim of encouraging runners to perform better at each leg. This year, part of the proceeds will go to support the Yes Pinoy Foundation’s philanthropic works.
